SOLAR TRACKING JAPAN, LTD. (STJ) was founded in 1988, as a result of the owner's retirement from the maritime and offshore industry, and has been providing spare and replacement parts procuring services to the international maritime and offshore oil drilling industry ever since.  We are a small, but dedicated and nimble company, with our office in Hiroshima - Japan.  We specialize in the supply of Japanese and Korean-made spare parts, for deck machinery to engine room requirements, from electronics to mechanics, as well as from the sanitary to galley requirements.  Please see our "Suppliers" page for a partial listing of manufacturers and suppliers with whom we are doing business in Japan.  A suppliers listing for Korea will be added soon to this website.

As the owner of STJ, let me give you a brief introduction of myself.  Prior to 1988 I worked as a construction manager for a major U. S. company in Japanese shipyards for 15 years.  In that capacity I became intimately familiar with the Japanese supply industry to Japanese shipyards.  Since the start of STJ, I have set up an efficient and fast responding system of communicating with our supply companies and manufacturers resulting in fast parts supply to our customers.  Due to my position as a construction manager I have precise and detailed knowledge of all materials, systems and components used on vessels of any kind (excepting navy vessels).
